A/B testing (also called split testing) lets you compare two versions of an email to see which performs better before sending to your full list. Available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
What You Can A/B Test
- Subject Line: Test different subject line copy or personalization approaches.
- From Name: Compare "MisarMail" vs your personal name vs your brand name.
- Email Content: Test different layouts, CTAs, or messaging.
Setting Up an A/B Test
- In the campaign wizard, enable A/B Test in the Details step.
- Create your Variant A (the original) and Variant B (the alternative).
- Set the test split: e.g., 20% of your list gets Variant A, 20% gets Variant B.
- Set the evaluation metric: Open Rate or Click Rate.
- Set the wait period: how long to wait before declaring a winner (e.g., 4 hours).
- The winning variant is automatically sent to the remaining 60% of your list.
Reading A/B Test Results
After the test period, visit the campaign detail page to see side-by-side performance metrics for both variants. The winning variant will be highlighted.
