Automations let you send the right email at the right time — automatically. Set up a trigger once, and MisarMail handles the rest.
How Automations Work
An automation consists of:
- Trigger: The event that starts the automation (e.g., "Contact Subscribed").
- Steps: A sequence of actions — sending emails, adding tags, waiting for delays, or checking conditions.
When the trigger fires for a contact, they enter the automation and move through the steps over time.
Available Triggers
- Contact Subscribed to a list
- Contact Unsubscribed
- Contact Added to a Segment
- Campaign Email Opened
- Link Clicked in campaign
- Form Submitted
- Tag Added or Removed
- Date-based (birthday, annual renewal)
- API Trigger (Enterprise)
Creating an Automation
- Go to Automations → New Automation.
- Choose a trigger.
- Add steps: Email, Delay, Condition, Tag Action.
- Set the email content for each Email step using the campaign editor.
- Activate the automation — it will now run for every contact who meets the trigger.
